WELCOME TO LIVING WATER BAPTIST CHURCH
Living Water Baptist Church International Ministry was founded by four individuals sitting in a diner having lunch on a cold October day in 2006. The first church service was held on Sunday November 5, 2006. The church was formed on the concept, "Jesus is the Pastor." The church name was divinely inspired by John 7:38, "He that believeth on me as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." It was also inspired by the African heritage of Pastor Kayode Akinwande.
Living Water is a multicultural congregation. The congregation consists of members from Africa, America, Barbados, Haiti, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. By being a multicultural church, Living Water is living out the great commission that Christ has commanded which is to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and the son, and Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19).
